Where it all began . . . for Lenny

My Dad
Some of my fondest memories growing up involve my Dad in front of a grill. It didn't matter if it was propane, charcoal or a propane grill that we converted to a charcoal one, it was my Dad who instilled in me a love and passion for all things cooked over an open flame.

I have owned many grills in my lifetime. I will admit that most of them have been propane but they rarely lasted more than 2 or 3 years. Every once in a while, I would try to squeeze an extra year out of one by converting it to charcoal just like Dad use to.

A few years ago, I started to research Kamado style grills. I've researched them all . . . from Big Green Egg to Kamado Joe to the ones sold at "Big Box" stores. After seeing my partner in crime work his magic on a Grill Dome, I knew exactly what I wanted. So, I had to construct a plan to get Mama R, my beautiful wife, on board.

Happy Grill Dome owners
The first step in the plan was getting her to sample the deliciousness that came from a Grill Dome . . . so quite a few meals were had at my buddy's house. I won't bore you with all the details but it didn't take too long for her to finally agree!

My First Born at his Grill

I've had so much fun being able to take my passion of grilling (instilled in me by my father) to the next level. Not only am I taking it to the next level but I am also passing it on to the next generation.

Honestly, buying my Dome has been one of the best investments I have ever made. I love that it has allowed me to step up my game and perfect my art!
As we start sharing our grilling adventures we would like to leave you with this "blessing"
"May your grill always be hot and your beer always cold!"
Stay tuned . . .
